Monoskiing

The monoski is an aquatic activity that combines skills of ski, balance and physical endurance. This activity involves being pulled by a motor boat while standing on a single ski in the water.

The skier is placed in the water with a single ski and is attached to a rope that is tied to the boat. The goal is maintaining balance and maintain speed while being swept away by water.

Once the boat begins to move, the skier must keep arms outstretched and knees bent while leaning back to maintain balance and control direction. The key to the success in water monoskiing is to find the right balance and maintain a stable posture as it moves through water.

For beginners, it is advisable to start with a low speed and then gradually increase the speed as you gain confidence and ability in the activity.

Water monoskiing can be practiced by people from all ages and abilities, as long as they are in good physical condition. It can also be a fun group activity, where you can do friendly races and competitions to increase the emotion and the adrenaline.
